This coming Sunday my husband and I will be celebrating our one year anniversary. Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL, the weather was perfect, everything went off without a hitch and most importantly it was the happiest day of my life thus far.
I could not have asked for a more loving, caring, understanding, and supportive husband. All of which I have needed a lot of this last year! Learning of my medical condition and going through a major surgery this past year has given us a huge challenge. I think what I love most about our marriage is how we handled it. Everyone says that marriages have good years and bad years and overall this year was a good year. We learned a lot about each other and handled things the best we could.
While I hope that the next year of our marriage is blessed with the news of having our own baby, I don't have total control over it! For right now I will just be happy with remembering my wedding, honeymoon, and first year of marriage with fondness.
I love you sweetie with all of my heart and I can't wait for many, many more anniversaries with you!
